Apex Systems is assisting a reputable client in hiring a Network Engineer for their team.
This is a contract position with potential for conversion to full time with the end client.
Contract lenght: 6+ months
Applicable locations: Charlotte, NC preferred

Pay rate: $65+/hr W2

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Firewalls (minimum three years)
• Experience of installing and maintaining Cisco Switches
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification
• preferred.
• CCNP certified (or higher) preferred.
• Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing
• Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS
• Palo Alto Command line
• Cisco command line
• Must have a good networking background and understanding.
• A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and
• customisation of features
