The Johns Hopkins Hospital- Meyer 3 Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and Psychiatric Emergency Department is a 22 bed adult psychiatric acute care inpatient unit for patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other severe mental illnesses, including addictions. Many of our patients come from this community, and most are admitted through the psychiatry emergency department.
