EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Though prior experience is preferred, it is not necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.

The day-to-day*:
- Welcome and/or acknowledge each guest with a warm smile, maintained eye-contact, and a friendly, appropriate greeting;
- Effectively closing out the hotel's business day based on company's standards;
- Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner;
- Ensure wake-up calls are appropriately entered and processed;
- Be constantly alert and vigilant to suspicious behaviors and situations;
- Supply guests/residents with accurate information about the property, its amenities, services, hours of operation, local area attractions;
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked workstation and always ensure that the incoming shift is set up for success.
Needed to be successful in this position:
- Excellent computing and math skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
