Position Highlights:

• Work location: Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
• Work environment: Our 25 bed Observation Unit is designed to provide short-term evaluation, treatment and assessment for patients who do not require a full admission to the hospital. Examples of patients seen include but is not limited to: those experiencing chest pain, TIA, Respiratory illnesses and COPD exacerbation. The Unit is a middle ground between outpatient and inpatient care which allows staff to monitor and assess patients before determining the need for further care or discharge.
• The patient ratio is typically 1:5/7 on day/evening shifts and 1:9/13 on night shifts. Candidates must work a variable weekend rotation which is typically every other, however this can be less weekends if you are able to fulfill hours during the week.
• Salary range is based on relevant years of experience.

Shift Hours:
Multiple shift options available, including Casual Part Time and Full Time. We offer flexible scheduling with options for day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will include a modified block schedule dependent on availability, with every other weekend and every third weekend blocks

You will have the opportunity to work both 8 hour and 12 hour shifts
Job Description:

Responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Coordinates and processes department patient information; performs secretarial tasks, and maintains organized work flow of department. Functions as department receptionist, and responds to customer inquires or customer is referred to appropriate person(s).

Qualifications:
Listed on State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
