Position Highlights:
  • Work location: Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
  • Work environment: Our Ortho/Neuro Unit is a 30 bed unit. The ortho surgery population is primarily total joint replacements (hips, knees and shoulders). Most of these surgeries discharge the day of surgery and will eventually transition over to the surgical center. If you are interested in the surgical center, there will be opportunity to be cross trained. The neurosurgery population includes surgeries on the spine, neck and brain. We often see fusions/laminectomies/decompressions, as well as brain surgeries such as craniotomies and tumor resections. For our medical population, we specialize in both ortho and neuro patients. For ortho, we take care of all of the fractures that come into the hospital, surgical site infections and other post op complications. For Neuro, we primarily see stokes, TIAs, encephalopathy and spinal abscesses and any medical complication that involves bones, the brain or your nerves.
  • Salary range is based on relevant years of experience.
Shift Hours:
Part Time or Full Time Hours available. Weekend requirement varies on department needs.

You will have the opportunity to work both 8 hour and 12 hour shifts
Job Description:

Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
