CCHCS seeks to fill a Limited Term, Full-Time Nursing Consultant, Program Review position in Nursing Services.

Under the direction of the Headquarters Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) of the Whole Person Care Program (WPCP) or designee, the Nursing Consultant, Program Review (NCPR) is responsible for supporting the development and statewide deployment of the WPCP, Complete Care Model (CCM), Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment, Hepatitis C Treatment (HCV), and other clinical initiative at California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and California Correction Health Care Services (CCHCS). The NCPR provides program consultant regarding nursing practices, procedures, and standards. This position has the possibility of extensive travel with limited notice.

Please note: Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s). If you are interested in a T&D assignment, you are not required to meet MQs; however, you must indicate T&D as your eligibility when applying.

This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.

Telework
After 30 days of employment hybrid telework schedule may be available for emplyees who can satisfactorily perform the essential work functions of the position, independently and remotely.
