CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent/Fulltime Nursing Consultant, Program Review position in the Statewide Mental Health Program.

Under the direction of the Chief Psychiatrist of the Integrated Gender Affirming Healthcare Program (IGAHP), the Nursing Consultant, Program Review (NCPR) is responsible for implementing and monitoring the clinical healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency with laws, rules, and regulations as it relates to transgender and gender diverse (TGD) healthcare, and for providing program consultation regarding nursing practices, procedures, and standards. The NCPR works closely with Psychiatry, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Medical, Administrative, Custody and Supervisory/Managerial employees. This position has the possibility of extensive travel with limited notice.

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Knowledge and application of the treatment and diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and current World Professional Association of Transgender Healthcare (WPATH) Standards of Care (SOC). Previous nursing experience working with the TGD patient population. Preferred experience in gender health assessments.
