OT Job duties:
- Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence in daily activities
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries
OT Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience in patient service and case management
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and principles
- Ability to work in a sub acute rehabilitation and long term care facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
