Occupational Therapists at the VNH screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients as well as coordinate and communicate treatment activities with our interdisciplinary team members and the patient.
The Occupational Therapistwill:
- Assess the patient's functional ability.
- Provide direct treatments.
- Select therapeutic modalities.
- Communicate with all members of the health care team.
- Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives.
- Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures.
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire, or hold a compact license.
- BS in Occupational Therapy or postgraduate Occupational Therapy Certification program. Passage of National Registration Exam.
