Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Office Manager to join our team in New York City. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office space and supporting various administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
* Manage office facilities including maintenance, supplies, and vendor relationships.
* Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
* Oversee office equipment and manage repairs or replacements as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and workspaces.
* Assist with onboarding new employees and provide administrative support to the team.
* Handle inquiries from staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
* Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations for staff as needed.
* Collaborate with HR and IT departments on various projects and initiatives.
* Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in office management or facilities coordination preferred.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
* A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
* Knowledge of basic accounting and budget management is a plus.
* Must be able to work part-time hours, [specify hours if known].
