On Call Banquet Server

The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is seeking people who are passionate about hospitality to work as on call Servers in our Banquet Department.

As an ON CALL position, shifts will vary and many will fall during evening hours and on weekends. It's ideal for students or others who have flexible schedules and want to pick up extra work. Starting pay is $14.50 per hour.

The main purpose of the Banquet Server position is to have an enthusiastic attitude while ensuring our guests receive the highest quality service and maintaining the appropriate ambiance at our events. The position requires the capability to effectively communicate with guests and team members and the flexibility to work various schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Description:

• Set up side station and perform side work as assigned
• Set up banquet room per client and management expectations
• Provide excellent service and attention to all guests
• Serve beverages and meals according to standards
• Remove soiled plates and glassware
• Clear tables
• Perform other clean up or related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stay comfortable on your feet for the entire shift.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Extreme attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
