The On-Campus Student Recruiter assists in the effective recruitment of future "Champions for Christ" through our Visitors Center. This part-time student worker is pivotal to the success of Liberty University's recruitment efforts and will be asked to lead campus tours while assisting with on-campus recruitment events. The On-Campus Student Recruiter will be a positive representation of Liberty's student body, and offer a positive first impression, or "handshake" of the university. This position serves under the direct leadership of the Campus Tour Specialist.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Schedule and conduct campus tours (in-person or virtual).

2. Open & close HWC facility.

3. Schedule academic appointments on behalf of prospective students.

4. Completing projects and other assigned tasks, such as, but not limited to: vehicle cleaning, cleaning model dorm rooms, maintaining hospitality kitchen.

5. Support Recruitment events, such as, College For a Weekend, ExperienceLU, and DecideLU.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

1. Outgoing, Christ-like personality.

2. Must be a current student.

3. Have been a current student for at least one semester.

4. Familiarity with academic programs and campus life.

5. Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

6. Professional level in oral and written communication skills.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook).

8. Available to work weekends and academic breaks.
