Onsite Fullstack Java Developer

A financial company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Fullstack Developer to work hybrid (3-5x week onsite) at either their Cincinnati or Chicago office. This will be a contract role through the end of the year with likely extensions into next year.

The role will be true full stack (60-70% front-end and 30-40% backend) role and the individual should be impartial to back or front end/ flexible to hop into either end as the team needs change. Their time will be broken down into 70-80% development, 10% participating in user stories/planning and 10% deployment and continuous integration. Communication and critical thinking skills extremely important for this team and the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience full stack core Java development (11 or newer) within spring boot frameworks
SQL database writing queries
Frontend development in React OR Angular
AWS deployment using Docker/Kubernetes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Banking/Finance (Capital Markets ++) industry experience
Cloud Standard Certifications such as, but not limited to: AWS Solution Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Admin Associate, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Solution Architect Professional
Application Performance Monitoring / Logging software (Dynatrace /Splunk)
