Job Overview:

The Operations Field Supervisor supports the properties based on direction of the Regional Director, Security Manager and Director of Security Operations. The Operations Field Supervisor are highly visible at the property level. They frequently visit properties, offer feedback and recommendations to the Community Association Manager, and the Area Specialist Team. They lead a team of Area Specialists who assist them in offering coverage needs to the properties they support. The Operations Field Supervisor will be directly supervised by the Security Manager and Director of Security Operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate trainings at specific properties when needed.
  • Assist with administrative/front desk coverage based on property needs.
  • Support a portfolio of assigned buildings/properties.
  • Responsible for Area Specialist including training, scheduling and payroll.
  • Monitor and have knowledge of all shift coverage.
  • Attend trainings and meetings, as scheduled.
  • Assist Front Desk Team Leaders/Property Managers onsite with coverage needs.
  • On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Facilitate training of all new Area Specialists.
  • Assist start-up team with new properties.
  • Arrange property visits at least every other month including overnights and weekends.
  • Attend One on Ones with Security Leadership.
  • Must attend department meetings.
  • Respond to phone calls/emails in a timely manner.
  • Communicate regularly with Community Association Managers/Front Desk Supervisors.
  • Cover shifts as needed, in the event coverage cannot be provided by Area Specialist or the property's internal employees.
  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards and values.
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer service background.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of supervisor experience in similar position preferred.
  • Computer literacy: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs
  • Work in an upright, standing, or sitting position for long periods of time
  • Handle, grasp, and lift objects and packages
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the building/property as required to meet the job functions
  • Complete all required forms
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on building requirements
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner

Compensation: $21.00 Hourly

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | Flexible to occasional weekends and evenings
