Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the resources required to achieve manufacturing, quality assurance and production product programs activities to meet strategic objectives and to assure the long term viability and profitability of the division. The Operations Manager will be responsible for upholding our culture of mutual trust and respect and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The Operations Manager will continually oversee the entire scope of all manufacturing & production programs.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire scope of all manufacturing programs regrading safety, quality, delivery, productivity, culture and continuous improvement.
  • Direct supervision of production supervisors who each have responsibility for 10-15 production employees
  • Lead our cultural journey through the use of our people philosophy
  • Lead daily Gemba and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.
  • Ensure the safety of our team by mitigating all manufacturing risks.
  • Attract, motivate and retain talented employees
  • Use positive assumptions and lead by example via mutual trust and respect
  • Identify and correct problem areas before they affect programs.
  • Operate as a member of the EPP General Management Team (GMT) and as a business partner for strategic planning.
  • Coordinate production program communications, technical activity and schedules with Program Managers.
  • Prioritize projects and tasks related to manufacturing facilities and production programs that have major impacts on schedule and costs.
  • Establish and review budgets, and schedule forecasts to control departmental and program costs.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be willing to obtain Secret Security Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or Business
  • 10+ years manufacturing experience and 5+ years in supervisory/leadership role
  • Experience with standard office software programs, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with lean manufacturing
  • Experience with MRP systems, SAP preferred
  • Must be adaptable and able to solve problems with little guidance
