Schedule: Full-Time/Day

Shift : Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

Location : Advent Health Orlando

The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific programs & projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Serves as a liaison between business users and implementation team, defines project tasks and resource requirements, monitors and reports on progress of the program or project, assesses results, and manages customer support. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

In addition to running projects, the Program Manager will assist in facilitating the process for analyzing value; evaluating risk; prioritizing; and onboarding new requests to ensure alignment with the program and project strategy. They will be responsible for activities including program / project reporting and metrics to create predictable project and initiative delivery.

This role will facilitate projects for the onboarding and recruiting endeavors at AdventHealth and Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC). This role will be responsible to advertise and recruit Cancer Metabolism investigators, develop position descriptions, advertise, and recruit investigators in Population Science with an emphasis on priority areas including cancer prevention and care delivery and implementation science. This role will use the best athlete approach to recruit and enhance existing programs. This role will create competitive offer packages and employment agreements to facilitate the recruit of top talent. This role will assess the adequacy of key management and support staff, and administrative leadership positions to meet the key administrative and scientific needs of the consortium. This role will manage a large program that will integrate AdventHealth into MCC's State-level cancer control initiatives. This role will be involved in many other projects and will collaborate on other initiatives and departments within the Research Institute.

  • Act as Project Manager and lead cross functional project teams by task assignment and follows up to ensure on-time completion
  • Lead effective project kickoff, identification of all project stakeholders, while defining and clarifying project roles and responsibilities
  • Creates the Charter, gathers requirements, creates the stakeholder register, and communication plan
  • Work with all stakeholders to identify and confirm necessary resources
  • Manage a Program to communicate regularly with executive sponsors toward goal achievement, critical factors and addressing obstacles
  • Program Schedule Management - Working with the Subject Matter Experts develops the Work Breakdown Structure. Develops a simplified Program schedule for resource management and capacity tracking. Facilitates information entry and updating for the AHRI Command Center
  • Identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables
  • Performs risk management to ensure programs are successful
  • Seeks innovative ways to remove project obstacles


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, or Healthcare or 5 years like experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the following:
    • Managing projects, preferably in a health care or human resources, utilizing standard project management concepts
    • PMP Certified
    • Agile or Scrum Master Certified
