The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Center, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance.

This is an on-site role, located in Brooklyn Center, MN. Only candidates who live in the Twin Cities, MN. area will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements using Lean strategies to improve production efficiency and cost reduction
  • Ensure that all production targets are met or exceeded
  • Manage and motivate a team of production staff
  • Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Manage plant maintenance and repair activities
  • Ensure that all plant equipment is properly maintained and serviced
  • Prepare and manage the plant's budget
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on plant performance
  • Production and resource planning


You Are Ideal for This Role If You:
  • Have strong planning and organization skills
  • Are an experienced Manufacturing leader with direct reports
  • Is a good communicator and is focused on safety, quality and delivery


Physical Requirements:
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Constantly operates machinery
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)


Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven Manufacturing management experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, but open to candidates with a HS Diploma and relevant work experience
