Journeyman and Senior positions

Location: Patuxent River, MD (Hybrid/Remote)

HigherEchelon is seeking motivated Operations Research Analysts to support The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department (SED) team in Patuxent River, MD.

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that require expert level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

• Leads the execution of complex tasks.

• Performs comprehensive analyses of hardware/software concepts, designs, and test requirements.

• Reviews, analyzes, integrates, and conducts test and evaluation of contractor or Government-generated source data and develops interim documentation.

• Performs system concept formulation, system design analysis, and subsystems design analysis.

• May work on special problem areas to make recommendations

• highly unique and may include various digital innovation or disruptive technology areas (e.g., block chain, quantum computing, internet of things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics process automation).

Required Skills:

• Experience providing high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution, business and technical operations, strategic initiatives, workforce development, business improvement, or as required to support exceptionally complex technical and organizational tasks.

• Experience administering complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum of Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Education:

• Journeyman:

oManagement, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree

o3-9 years of related experience

• Senior:

oManagement, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree

oA minimum of 10 years of related experience
