The pay listed above is encompassing of a total range, final compensation offered will be dependent upon several factors to include but not limited to years of experience and education within the position and industry.

Scope of Work:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, schedule, operation, and quality assurance of the FASTC facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • The Operations Supervisor shall be in charge on-site at the facility during hours that the Operations and Maintenance Manager and Program Manager are not available. The Operations Supervisor is directly responsible for the quality assurance, maintenance activities, maintenance schedules, and activities of all members of his or her team.
  • Oversees all activities and personnel within the respective Site.
  • Maintains inventory control and accountability of tools.
  • Ensures preparation, accuracy, and completeness of required records.
  • Provides technical assistance, guidance, and instruction as needed.
  • Assists with ordering resupply materials to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Conducts quality reviews of work and related documentation.
  • Communicates professionally, orally, and in writing with subordinates.
  • Maintains high-quality standards in all maintenance functions.
  • Analyzes maintenance data for efficient management of maintenance efforts.
  • Sets performance goals and deadlines aligned with company plans, mission, and vision.
  • Organizes workflow to ensure a clear understanding of delegated tasks by employees.
  • Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Ensures submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Keeps leadership informed on maintenance and repair actions, making recommendations for efficiency.
  • Contributes to high-level management status and planning meetings.
  • Monitors overtime requirements and usage closely.
  • Anticipates and promptly resolves operational problems.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over a team.
  • Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide necessary training to staff and maintains necessary reports and training records as required.
  • Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company and customers plans, mission, and vision.
  • Ensure all maintenance equipment/tools are properly functioning and maintained.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience managing all aspects of, maintenance activities and repair, customer relations. The experience should include team management, progress reporting, quality assurance reporting, and scheduling.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising commercial facility support services.
  • Specialized experience working with a federal government agency or US military installation is preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of work management systems/software/programs (e.g., MAXIMO).
  • Must possess a knowledge of codes and standards applicable to maintenance services associated with the contract.
  • Must possess the ability to identify and resolve issues, establish priorities, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
  • Proficient computer skills to include the use of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication (English) and must be able to read and understand the signs, signals, and operating instructions.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks in a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules under pressure of deadlines while maintaining acceptable performance standards.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License as required by the position.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening to include Motor Vehicle Record check.
