Volt is immediately hiring an Assembly Specialist in Folsom, CA.

As an Assembly Specialist, you will:

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. Here are some common responsibilities for an Assembler:

Follow technical instructions: Interpret product blueprints and handle various tools. Follow engineering blueprints and technical terms to assemble products accurately.

Discern quality: Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production. Ensuring that the components meet the required standards is crucial.

Inventory management: Track of parts and tools used in the assembling process; Participate in physical inventories as required.

Test finished products: After assembly, they test the finished products for defects.

Maintain tools and workspace: Ensure that the tools used for assembly are well-maintained, and keep workspace clean

This is a Full-Time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 6:00 am- 2:30 pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• Successful completion of drug screen and background required.
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks.
• Approximately one year of production / Assembly experience
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand 90% of the day.

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
