Job Summary:

Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis across a broad range of greenfield and brownfield FTTH deployment projects. Performs administrative duties commensurate with the requirements of the organization including data gathering, metrics, and reports. Interfaces with multiple departments to gather data, update tracking, and drive timelines. Run routine reporting related to company performance related to fiber deployments. Develops new standards for data analytics and reporting in the organization and works with other departments to understand potential performance metrics and methods of capturing and reporting on those metrics.

  • Responsible for managing the lifecycle of FTTH deployments from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with OSP Planning, Sales, Fiber Operations, and other departments to prepare preliminary cost estimates and scopes of work to determine project feasibility, risks, and budgetary accommodations
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership and other Staff to plan, schedule, update, and identify operational problems or obstacles related to the FTTH program
  • Drive efficiency through usage of various communication and project management tools
  • Accurately and effectively prepare written correspondence to project team and assign action items as needed
  • Motivated to drive projects forward and find solutions when roadblocks are encountered
  • Host inter-departmental project meetings to review status of projects in the backlog
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure project activities are being worked and to obtain forecasts on pending activities
  • Determine deliverables with inputs and outputs and ownership of deliverables to drive timely task completion with clear ownership of deliverables between team members.
  • Assist leadership in identifying and removing potential project roadblocks related to design, permitting, or construction of a variety of FTTH projects
  • Establish positive relationships with team members and partners
  • Comfortable recommending process enhancements or identifying areas where new processes may be needed
  • Track project goals, production, and other key metrics used to determine success of projects
  • Support Project Coordinators and provide learning and growth opportunities
  • Be a key stakeholder for assigned projects and take ownership of assigned projects to drive them to completion
  • Other duties as determined necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years supporting OSP fiber deployment projects
  • FTTH construction project leadership experience preferred
  • Project Management Experience on FTTH projects highly preferred
  • Strong with Excel, Google Earth, and various Project Mgmt. databases
  • Strong ability to prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong ability to organize large sets of data using Microsoft Office and other applications
  • Proven ability to thrive in a startup environment
  • Team Oriented mindset

  • Hudson Oaks, TX main office
  • Remote/offsite as required
  • Will cover various locations throughout Texas

Working Hours/Days:

  • Monday thru Friday
  • Full-time
