Job Overview

The Overnight General Maintenance Mid-Level Engineer B is primarily responsible for general maintenance of the facility's participant rooms and public areas. This role is an ideal position for a motivated individual looking to learn and grow within the Engineering field.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and back of house areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform necessary repairs, and maintain a daily record using HotSOS
• Respond to guest calls and colleague work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
• Conduct inspections for preventative maintenance needs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
• Assist with the patrolling of the interior and perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
• Respond to emergency situations including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering and department managers

Wage Information:

The salary range for this position is $24.00 to $31.20. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.

Overnight premium of $2.00/hr paid for shifts starting at 10:00pm and time worked through 8:00am.
