Insight global is seeking a candidate to join our client's legal investigation team as a paralegal. This candidate will provide operational support for Professional Conduct, including assisting in the transition from Aderant Total Office to ONIT and serving as super user/administrator of our case management systems. This individual will need to be highly inquisitive, responsive, and collaborative.

Day to Day:
Process Professional Conduct Statements, third-party complaints, and references accurately and timely to assist the Head of Enforcement determine whether further investigation is appropriate
Ensure that investigative case files are accurate and complete throughout the life-cycle of Enforcement matters
Work closely with special and senior investigators to assist them in actively managing their dockets by:
o conducting factual and legal research to support investigations and disciplinary proceedings
o communicating as needed with complainants and members under investigation and their legal counsel
o preparing, proofreading, and transmitting correspondence to members and candidates, their legal counsel, and third-parties
o tracking and reporting on the status of pending and overdue information requests
o reviewing and summarizing documents and information received in connection with information requests
o ensuring that all documents received in connection with investigations are properly named and saved in the case management system
o providing logistical support in scheduling and conducting in-person and telephonic investigative interviews, preparing exhibits used in witness interviews, summarizing testimony, and digesting testimony transcripts
o preparing case summaries and memorandums
Assist the Monitoring Manager in surveilling the websites of global regulatory agencies, newspapers, industry websites, and blogs to identify CFA Institute members and CFA exam candidates who may have engaged in wrongdoing
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to Enforcements work
Coordinate with service providers to translate foreign-language documents
Collaborate and act as a liaison with CFA Institute staff working in the Hong Kong Office
Work with the Hearing Panel Administrator to schedule disciplinary proceedings
Assist in the preparation of hearing panel briefs, including creating accurate citations and preparing and organizing exhibits
Help Enforcement staff prepare and submit articles and Notices of Disciplinary Actions
Compile and create reports that document Professional Conducts (exams and enforcements) monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics
Participate in the development and execution of Enforcements strategic plan

Required Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a legal setting as paralegal, legal secretary, or executive assistant
- inquisitive, collaborative, and communicative

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- experience with ATO, ONIT or NetDocs
- CLA or CP certifications
