Job Summary

This position provides supporting patient care to patients that undergo an MRI exam within Michigan Medicine.

Responsibilities*

Provide routine paramedical, clerical & technical assistance related to MRI procedures including entering patient information into the computer, scheduling patients, assisting with patients throughout, preparing patients for MRI, assist with monitoring equipment and preparing diagnostic contrast media for procedures. Start IVs and venipuncture. Inventory management and maintenance

Required Qualifications*

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications*

• Pediatric Patient care experience 1+ years
• Starting IVs on both adult and children

Sunday 7a-7p, Monday 730am-330pm, Tuesday 730am-330pm
