A cancer treatment specialist group is seeking a Patient Intake Coordinator to support their growing needs. This team will be handling calls to get new patients registered and scheduled for an initial consultation appointment. The new patient coordinator will obtain patient records, demographic information, referral information and they will input it into the system and schedule the patient for their initial consultation appointment with the provider. When inputting patient information they will also check the patients eligibility and verify their insurance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and navigate different systems while taking care of the patient and providing top tier customer service. In this role you will be handling about 40-50 patient calls daily. This position is based in Texas and will be remote.

Experience verifying patient insurance and checking their eligibility

Experience working in a call center environment and answering calls from a que

Experience navigating different systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task

Customer Service experience

Remote in Texas
