  • The Patient Service Coordinator will offer friendly, courteous, and confidential assistance to every patient to ensure that the patient has a positive experience
  • Maintain accurate information on each patient to facilitate the patient encounter
  • Use automated systems to expedite patient scheduling, pre-registration, check-in, and check-out
  • Work with others in a team environment
  • The position will require occasional evening hours

Full time Rotating Shift, early morning and evening shifts available (6:45am-7:30pm)

Education:
  • Diploma/Certificate/GED required

Work Experience:
  • 1 year of related experience required or two (2) years customer service experience.

Knowledge/Skills:
  • 1. Displays responsible behaviors and communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members in order to foster optimal quality of outpatient care.
  • 2. Demonstrates competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care.
  • 3. Demonstrates problem-solving skills as they relate to patient care activities.
  • 4. Must be able to collect, verify and organize data with high degree of accuracy.
  • 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 6. Minimum keyboarding requirement of 30 wpm strongly preferred.
