Patient Services Coordinator I

In a clinical setting, performs a variety of patientservice, administrative duties and general office work. Responsible for theefficient flow of escorts, correspondence and other materials; receiving anddirecting visitors, and maintaining the physical environment.

Job specific responsibilities:

• Performs patientservice, administrative duties and general office work.
• Responsible for the efficient flow ofescorts, correspondence and other materials;
• Maintains the physical environment.
• Follows HIPAA Guidelines for themanagement of patient privacy and confidentiality
• Performs an participates in specialprojects as directed
• Answers General Questions
• Greets/Directs Patients
• Answers Phones/Performs ReceptionResponsibilities
• Duties may include; Maintains/PurgesFiles, Photocopying, sorts and Distributes Mail and Retrieves Medical Records
• Performs Light Typing/Data Entry

Qualifications

Requires:

• 1+ years of office experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Basicknowledge of medical terminology.
• High School Diploma / G.E.D.

Formal Secretarialtraining preferred
