Insight Global is looking for a Sr. HCM Functional Analyst/Peoplesoft Expense Module Implementation Specialist to join one of our largest higher education clients. This SME resource will be involved in the project from end of planning through deployment and maintenance testing which ends on July 30th, 2025. The stand-out skills that this resource should have are a strong background in fit/gap analysis, change management requirements gathering, and excellent leadership skills to lead the Expense Module implementation. This resource will be working cross functionally and assisting different IT Teams responsible for Peoplesoft applications. They will be leading systems & integration testing, completing configuration documents for continuity purposes, and building out new expense solutions or features within Peoplesoft throughout. They will also be performing ad hoc project tasks and be expected to handle multiple duties with tight deadlines. This individual will be reporting to the project manager & project coordinator for the duration of the contract and will oversee a full-time analyst. We need this individual to be a go-getter, attentive to detail, and willingness to hit the ground running.

Required Skills & Experience

Role Details:
Requirements Gathering:
Review and document requirements from the 2023 Expenses Fit/Gap Analysis project.
Conduct a deep dive into further requirements and produce a traceability matrix.
Collaborate with change management resources and other analysts.
Understand the upgrade process from PUM47/PT8.60 to PUM50/PT8.61.
Configuration Documents:
Complete configuration documents for requirements that fit within existing functionality.
Functional Specifications:
Complete functional specification documents for gaps in functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements clearly.
System Tests:
Create and execute system tests for all requirements in the traceability matrix.
Integration Testing:
Ensure all required tests for interfacing systems are documented and tested.
PTF Test Scripts:
Work with the contracted team to create PTF test scripts and participate in meetings.
Other Project Support:
Provide additional support as needed.

Must-Haves:
7-9+ years of experience with PeopleSoft systems as a functional analyst or 2-3 full cycle implementations of the PeopleSoft Expenses module.
Ability to provide SME guidance and work independently while collaborating with the project team.
Demonstrated leadership experience within previous roles.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Experience with higher-education systems or implementations impacting over 500 u .
Project management skills or PMP certifications.
