We are presently seeking a Perioperative Support Partner to join our team!
  • Position Summary This position consists of 40 hours per week.
    • Under the direction of the OR charge nurse, support and assist the surgical team in a fast paced, multifaceted role to facilitate the OR schedule in multiple capacities. Under the direction of the Department and Anesthesia and the OR Director, support the delivery of anesthesia care.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
    • License/Certifications: BCLS within 6 months of hire.
    • Experience: No experience required.
    • Ability to read, write, follow instructions.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge of infection control in the surgical unit.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to assist with anesthesia delivery.
    • Demonstrates ability to perform assigned duties in emergent patient care situations.
    • Demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to meet age-specific population needs.
    • Self directed; able to perform duties independently following standards, practices and procedures; ability to retain detailed technical information.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of supply and distribution
    • Ability to retain diverse, detailed technical information
    • Ability to interact with patients and families in a compassionate, professional manner
