One year of experience as a hospital pharmacy technician.
Preferred: Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education:
- Department: Inpatient
- Schedule: Day/Evening shift as needed with every weekend rotation, plus one summer and one winter holiday.
Hours:
6:00am to 3:00pm
7:00am to 3:30pm
3:00pm to 11:30pm - Hospital: Ascension St. Agnes
- Location: Baltimore, MD

- Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
- Prepare order and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
- Repackage bulk medications.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Triage incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
