Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician III directly assists the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory performing quality assurance activities and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required
  
• National board certification for Pharmacy Technicians within ninety (90) days of hire
  
• Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution including sterile compounding.
  
• Excellent oral and written skills
  
• Computer skills
  
• Ability to work independently with good organizational and project management skills
