Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking an occasional PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join our team!

The Physical Therapist Assistant conducts treatment procedures for pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This position is primarily outpatient setting.

HOURS: This position is occasional / as needed; 0 FTE. Opportunity for growth into a part or full time position in the future.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
• Current Michigan PTA license
• 1-3 years' experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant desirable.
