Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University's mission of Training Champions for Christ. Adjuncts should view their teaching, engagement with students, and scholarship as a means to a significant educational end. Teach residential courses in the Department of General Math and Science. Teaching assignments include 100 and 200 level Physic courses and Labs. Responsible for class lectures, grading assignments, and advising students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach courses in 100 and 200 level Physics. Record student grades in a timely fashion. Reports to Chair of the Department of Mathematics. Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner. Strong organizational skills Advanced computer skills. Classroom management and allocation of teaching resources. Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline taught (Physics).
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Physics, and college teaching experience.
