Our Team

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Plant Administrative Coordinator in our plywood mill in Corrigan, TX. The Administrative Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager and will assist with production reporting, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and other administrative type duties. This person should have a strong work ethic, sense of accountability, responsibility, and attention to detail. The coordinator is also responsible for effectively communicating with internal and external customers within varying levels of the organization. Organizational skills, the ability to prioritize work and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary

What You Will Do

  • Assist plant operations leaders with administrative duties and maintain strict adherences to confidentiality.
  • Work with site operational personnel to analyze production data and report key metrics as well as identify and investigate potential loss areas within the plant to resolve imbalances.
  • Gather and report key performance metrics.
  • Provide records management and records storage.
  • Update attendance tracking in KRONOS timekeeping system.
  • Coordinate system access for new hires, mobile phones administration and laptop/customer access.
  • Manage ordering and storage of office supplies.
  • Coordinate plant functions.
  • Other miscellaneous office administration duties as assigned.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel (pivot tables, data analysis/manipulation, formula creation), PowerPoint (presentation creation/editing) & Outlook
  • Must be flexible with working hours


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate degree or higher in Business or related field
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with systems such as Kronos and SAP
  • Experience in a human resource, accounting, payroll, or financial analysis environment
