Postdoctoral Fellow - Infectious Disease (Dr. Chemaly's Lab)

The Viral Clinical Trial unit in the Department of Infectious Diseases under Dr. Roy Chemaly primarily focuses on the epidemiology, prevention and treatment of viral infections in cancer patients.

A post doc within our group is expected to:

- Collect patient data from electronic medical records

- Follow patients on clinical trials

- Process clinical samples

- Protocol and manuscript preparation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understanding the basics of human clinical trials, including study design, study conduct and ethical considerations.

- Develop a comprehensive study protocol

- Summarizing study results into a manuscript

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
MD or equivalent medical degree

POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000 . depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience. MD Anderson trainee compensation also includes:
