Job description

Infosys is seeking a Business Intelligence developer with experience working in Microsoft Power BI. The position will primarily be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Analysis, Design and Development of software solutions. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• US citizenship and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Atleast 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in development of reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and good understanding of reporting, data visualization concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency with Power BI semantic model development and good knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Good knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, Azure Databricks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in Microsoft Power BI Platform, Knowledge in Microsoft Azure
• 3+ years of experience working on Retail domain
• Requirement and Data analysis skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
