- Analyze data and supports operational activities to provide stakeholders information and insights essential for decision-making and solution development.
- Serve as a go-to Power BI expert for Lockton specialty consulting teams.
- Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements, utilizing complex DAX formulas.
- Develop UAT guidelines & scripts.
- Create and run testing processes & sign-off for go-live deployment.
- Maintain dashboard security and access.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Employ automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from various sources, converting it into meaningful metrics.
- Review and implement standardized data practices and hand offs from analysts and data engineering resources.
- Run ad hoc report queries including detailed analysis and insight.
- Integrate data from multiple data sources into relevant client reports.
- Monitor the quality of data, perform data validation checks on various data sets, troubleshoot data-related issues, and resolve them timely to maintain data integrity.
- Assist with designing enhanced reporting to meet the evolving client needs.
- Continuous quality improvement on processes, policies, and reporting to improve efficiency and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience with Power BI required (DAX measures/queries, data modeling, star schema, row level security).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Power Query (M), Power Automate required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Excel required (VBA not required but helpful).
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst PL-300 Certification or equivalent knowledge highly preferred.
- Effective ETL and data manipulation skills.
- Alteryx Designer Core Certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with scripting and querying tools like Python, R or SQL, statistical methods, and data modeling a plus.
- Data analysis experience in a healthcare brokerage environment or insurance carrier.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet expertise.
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast paced and team-based environment.
- Experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets.
- Handles confidential information in the best interest of both client and company.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
