As a Power BI Developer & Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, providing critical support for decision-making across various departments within the company. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as analyzing data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
Collect and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key performance metrics and communicate insights effectively.
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights into key performance metrics.
Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
Create data models and perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes and solutions.
Provide training and support to end users on how to effectively utilize Power BI dashboards and reports.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements U.S. Citizenship is required.
A Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Department of Defense (DoD) experience is required.
Proven experience in data analysis, including data manipulation, visualization, and interpretation.
Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, and visualization design.
Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
Experience with LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, CoPilot) is a plus.
Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analysis are desirable.
