Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Power BI Developer to join its team, focusing on creating sophisticated business intelligence solutions tailored for the finance industry. This role involves close collaboration with technology and business systems teams, directly affecting key clients in the credit investment and specialty finance sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI, enhancing decision-making processes with insightful data visualization focused upon clarity, accuracy, and front-end user experience
• Integrate and interface with SQL systems to include data flows and ensure timely data refreshes for reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into technical solutions
• Maintain and develop technical documentation for all developed solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the performance of Power BI dashboards and automated processes
• Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on automation of manual tasks to increase efficiency
• Test and validate the accuracy of data models and automated solutions before deployment
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in BI to recommend improvements or innovations
• Contribute to team success by providing valuable insights across various projects, including SQL database architecture, ETL workflows, production report improvements, and other ongoing automation projects

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Experience:
• 5+ years in Power BI experience in financial services is essential
• RPA and MS Power Automate experience is highly desirable
• Strong track record of developing and implementing system architecture with an emphasis on financial analytics
• Prior experience in within asset management, investment banking, or related fields is highly desirable

Technical Skills:
• Deep expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and row-level security implementation, including ability to manage unclean and non-standardized data
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, data modeling, and ETL processes, transform and load data from disparate financial systems and into Power BI
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including fluency with XLOOKUP, Power Pivot Tables, and other array formulas for data analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Power Apps, Excel, SharePoint, and integration with financial software
