Insight Global is seeking a skilled Power BI Professional to join the HR team at one of our large clients in the long term care industry. The hourly pay for this role is expected to be between $40-$58/hr based on experience. This is a 3 month contract with possibility to convert to permanent hire. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR metrics, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into visually compelling insights. This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven solutions to support strategic HR initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This resource will be responsible for rebuilding our People Analytics dashboards in Microsoft Power BI from the ground up. With a strong understanding of both key business context and BI architecture and design, this role will be critical in bridging the gap between the business user and their data. Responsibilities will vary from very technical to very high-level design.
Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize HR metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends.
Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify data requirements, define key metrics, and translate business needs into actionable insights.
Design and implement data models to optimize data performance and accuracy.
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment to ensure data quality.
Automate report generation and distribution to streamline HR processes.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI dashboards and reports.
Interact with the HRIS and People Analytics team and business leads to understand business needs.
Provide technical guidance to the HRIS and People Analytics team to best address business functional requirements.
Deliver high-level BI design documents to HRIS and People Analytics team for review.
Support QA and UAT and production support when required.
Provide cross training to HRIS and People Analytics team on developed solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developing and implementing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Workday HCM experience
- Advanced Excel skillset
- Experience with and knowledge of HR Metrics / KPIs and People Analytics
