Our Team

Brigham and Women's Harbor Medical Associates in South Weymouth is located at 541 Main Street, South Weymouth, 02190. This location has multiple specialties including Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Vascular Surgery. This location also provides services such as Blood Draw Lab, Imaging, Primary Care and Urgent Care/Fast Care.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-time, 40-hour Practice Assistant II to support the Cardiac Testing suite at our multispecialty location onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Dedicated to administrative support, Practice Assistants serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.

Responsibilities include:

• Act as a super user for scheduling, registration, and billing systems. Provide training and assistance to others in these areas.

• May perform more complex or specialized functions (i.e. surgical scheduling) at highest competency level

• Utilize knowledge of HMO's managed care and other first party insurers and troubleshoots insurance issues as appropriate.

• Assist with training and orienting staff as needed.

• Provide cross coverage checking in patients as needed.

• Assist with special projects as directed.

We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting!

  • High school diploma, Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Three or more years of customer service experience or experience in a an outpatient setting preferred.
