American Animal Hospital Association ("AAHA")-accredited, companion animal practice located between Cumming and Canton, Georgia is looking for a veterinary practice manager.
A positive attitude, team-oriented work habits and a love for animals and people is essential. This full-time position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some weekend availability is ideal.
The ideal candidate will have the credentials of certified veterinary practice manager ("CVPM"). The veterinary practice manager is responsible for managing the business activities of the animal hospital, including human resources, legal and regulatory compliance, marketing, inventory, and building and equipment maintenance.
The role of practice manager demands the highest level of integrity and the ability to manage time and workload efficiently. Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills are also essential. Qualified candidates will utilize strategic thinking to make decisions and be comfortable taking initiative in order to implement a plan. You must be able to handle and lift pets of all sizes. This position requires attention to detail. Computer literacy is essential and experience with Avimark practice management software is ideal, but not required.
