Preventative Maintenance Technician

Description

The PM Tech 1 will carry out Preventative Maintenance according to schedule, examine and continually up-date Policies and Procedures on Hospital equipment, and assist other Maintenance employees when deemed necessary by the PM Supervisor or Plant Manager. The PM Tech 1 must have a valid class "C" drivers' license and reliable mode of transportation. Must be able to run errands both in and out of town using Hospital truck or compensated for personal vehicle. The PM Tech 1 is required to have the basic tools needed to perform various tasks without having to borrow from fellow employees excluding expensive tools such as specialized test equipment or power tools. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Continued education in the Maintenance field is desirable.

Experience

Experience in Preventive Maintenance preferred.
