As the Pricing Operations Supervisor you will report to the Pricing operations manager and will be accountable for the daily pricing operations and performance management of the Multifamily CPQ execution team and rebate processing employees. You will drive performance metrics with your team and have a focus on process improvement and on time delivery of KPI's. You will lead a team of 12 people and lead the development and implementation of large-scale integration projects. Reporting to you will be the Multi-family Pricing Representatives, and Rebate Coordinators. This team focuses on effectively executing special pricing, quoting, rebate processing and credit programs and provides a high level of service to internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for providing recommendations for improvements and overseeing implementation of all rebate programs including processing and timeliness of payments. The pricing operations team provides support to and coordinates information provided by other functions within the Company including Sales, Product Management, Transportation, Logistics, Credit, and Accounting.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet with all direct reports on a minimum bi-weekly basis to discuss their performance and growth and development objectives. This is a listening session as much as a coaching session.
  • Use performance-based metrics to manage and monitor the productivity of employees. Quickly identify performance issues and take corrective actions that result in increased engagement, retention, and eventual promotion.
  • Work closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure process adherence, JHBP pricing SOX compliance.
  • Create and maintain all pricing operations processes, KPI's and policy documentation.
  • With a focus on continuous process improvements, consistently seek opportunities to streamline existing processes with a specific focus on building scalable tools. Establish & maintain pricing controls by driving compliance to business approval matrix.
  • Report on Pricing Operations team's metrics and project updates to the rest of the Pricing department, Finance Director, other Finance team leaders, GM reviews.
  • Establish monthly and/or quarterly reports to educate the business on pricing procedures and any existing gaps, provide visibility to pricing operations performance and effectively communicate the operational side of any pricing changes, discrepancies, and exceptions.
  • Provide ad hoc price reporting to support sales, product management and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross functional teams and oversee the implementation of large-scale integration projects to further pricing and finance team goals.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the various team members, including but not limited to:
    • Multi-family Pricing Reps
      • Accurate quotes
      • Accurate contracts
      • Price Adjustments
      • CPQ systems support
    • Rebate Coordinators
      • Service cloud case management and KPI delivery
      • Coordinate sales reports,
      • Processing rebate payments on time and accurate
      • Maintenance of rebate portal
      • Communication to the business around existing and future rebate programs

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, accounting or related discipline required (masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems software (SAP Preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience with managing mid-sized teams and developing talent.
  • Proven ability to develop, retain and promote talent with experience in leading and facilitating business change among junior staff members
  • Detail oriented, with solid organizational skills.
  • Aptitude to analyze results and make recommendations.
  • General finance & accounting knowledge, strong Microsoft Office, CPQ and Salesforce.com capability
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvements & cost savings plans.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills with demonstrated ability to convey ideas to a diverse audience (Finance and Operational Partners)
