JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our mechanical engineering department, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful integration of mechanical systems.
- Drive the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions, from concept to production, meeting performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs, simulations, and prototypes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and methodologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on [mention relevant industry or technologies].
- Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams, delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
