Base Pay Range $185,800 - $255,475. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. This position reports to the Director of Engineering Enablement and is based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:
- Guiding and mentoring a matrixed team of embedded Technical Program Managers (TPMs) reporting to their respective engineering leaders, with a dotted line to the Engineering Enablement team.
- Develop and continuously improve standard TPM practices and methodologies, ensuring they align with Agile principles and the organization's goals.
- Coordinate with various engineering leaders and delivery teams to integrate and optimize the use of Atlassian applications and other Agile tools, enhancing their utility for effective software delivery.
- Facilitate the alignment of agile delivery models with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Product Life Cycle (PLC), ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
- Drive initiatives to refine Agile practices within the organization, focusing on operational efficiency and minimizing friction in the development process.
- Be a custodian and a subject matter expert for effective Agile planning practices and develop a maturity growth path for teams and the broader organization
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program/product management, with a strong emphasis on Agile operations, team leadership, and process optimization.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience directly working with delivery teams as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager is required.
- Extensive knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem and other agile tools, with expertise in tailoring these tools for operational efficiency and team support.
- Deep understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, servant leadership, and problem-solving skills, capable of driving improvements in a complex and evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile-related certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP) are beneficial but not mandatory.
