Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Program Management provides advanced administrative support for the Physics section of the Radiation Oncology department. This includes assisting with recruitment and administration of the Physics Residency program and providing ongoing coordination and support for the Physics faculty. In addition, this position will work directly with the Director of Physics and assist with their calendar.

Job Duties

  • Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Medical Physicists education program and the Physics section of the Radiation Oncology department.
  • Coordinates the trainee recruitment process and on boards new trainees, including interview coordination and planning of open house events. 2-4 residents may be recruited per year.
  • Serves as a liaison for the education program with Affiliates, internal departments, applicable external agencies, or trainees.
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations,electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events.
  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; may assist with grade or evaluation collection and submission.
  • Processes all aspects of educational appointments and reappointments in compliance with departmental and institutional policies, government regulations, and appropriate oversight agency requirements.
  • Reviews records and reports of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective.
  • Responsible for arranging all event activities pertaining to onboarding and orientation, including establishing a Physics Residency handbook
  • Provides administrative support for the Director of Physics, Program Director and other Physics faculty (9-11 faculty), including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, preparing correspondence, expense reimbursement, and travel planning.
  • May assist with creation and management of multiple education programs.
  • Assists in creating educational materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
