Process Engineer II

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Process Engineer II join a global pharmaceutical organization producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Process Engineer II will act as the process group representative within the corporate process group. This person will join a reputable company that is looking to double both in size and production in the coming years. This is a Monday - Friday, traditional hours role location in the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II:

• Own local formulation documents, perform change requests, protocols, and product transfers.
• Develop plans to improve the performance of a process or set of systems
• Utilize cLEAN tools within change management and problem solving
• Improve the performance of an existing process or set of systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools
• Support technical development of other engineers within the formulation team

Qualifications of the Process Engineer II:

• B.S. in Chemical engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience in a formulation environment
• Knowledge in Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Process Improvement Methodologies, Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent

Compensation of the Process Engineer II:

• $50-$60/hr
