Your Job

We are looking for a Process Engineering Manager that will lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians. You will be responsible for continuous improvement of our existing processes for higher yield, output, lower cost and reduced cycle time by optimizing these processes though innovation to make significant changes or introducing / developing new processes.

What You Will Do
  • Provide leadership and accountability for all process engineering functions within our facilities.
  • Develop a vision and effective organizational structure for the process engineering team to support the overall Molex vision. Promote a culture of self-actualization and utilizing each team member's comparative advantage.
  • Develop, nurture, and support a culture of Principled Entrepreneurship within the engineering department. Practice a philosophy of mutual benefit to create superior value for the company.
  • Function as a key member of the TBO leadership team. Sharing your unique technical knowledge and acquiring knowledge from the team to create synergy and help the team drive transformational change.
  • Capacity and capital planning. Coordinate with the materials and planning teams to understand capacity requirements. Ensure that the required machine capacity is in place and that plans are in place for capital projects as required.
  • Financial analysis and justification of capital projects. Use economic thinking and our decision-making framework (DMF) to evaluate projects that will add value, improve departmental performance, and key performance indicators (KPI's)
  • Analyze current preventive and predictive systems, determine their effectiveness and drive improvement resulting in measurable cost reductions.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree or experience
  • 10 years' engineering experience with 5 years in a management or supervisory role.


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience with developing electrical terminals and connectors.
  • Proficient with use of the following tools:
    • Statistical Process Control
    • Project Management
    • Capital Asset Planning
