Summary
The Hardware Technologies group is looking for a Process Engineering Technician! We are looking for a candidate who will have a background in device fabrication within a controlled lab environment and experience with test methods. This position will involve interaction with all aspects of design, test, and validation of advanced materials on second shift.

You will work closely with lab management and engineers to support process development work. You will be organizing and executing complex, detailed test procedures with input from engineers, manually load samples onto process tools, and will configure and run complex measurement setups using high accuracy test equipment. We are looking for an experienced process engineering technician with excellent time-management abilities, strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in process operations.



Description
- Perform laser cutting and backend device assembly operations.
- Carry out complex Design of Experiments for process improvement on high-precision process tools.
- Collect and collate data via multiple metrology instrumentation for engineering review.
- Troubleshoot and address first-level issues on process tools.
- Work multi-functionally to align with upstream and downstream processes for efficient WIP flow.
- Generate clear, concise, and detailed pass-downs for continuity to next shift.
- Train junior members to current protocols in process and metrology according to standard operating procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction for second shift: Interpret and disseminate process instructions to execute on complex experiments for fellow shift team members, ensuring clear communication across the floor.
